This is one of the longer short stories by Rod Harder. The
extra length of the story helped Rod to create characters but they are still a
little thin. The character of Alex is horrible and if I met someone who spoke
or acted this I would run. The story is not realistic at all.
On top of that the story is badly written with awful
punctuation and disconnected sentences. I felt like I was reading a list of
bullet points instead of a story. Not only are the sentences disconnected but
the parts of the story do not flow. One second Rod’s writing about one thing
and the next he’s writing about something entirely different. I would not
recommend this book.
